Ali Jahangiri – CEO of EB5Investors
Ali Jahangiri is a seasoned entrepreneur, attorney, and financier with over 13 years of experience in investment immigration, media, and global capital markets. He is the Managing Partner of EB5 Lending Alliance, a specialized EB-5 lender providing senior secured loans for development projects. The firm collaborates with industry leaders to structure high-quality EB-5 investment opportunities and operates multiple Regional Centers across the United States.
In addition, Jahangiri is the CEO of EB5 Investors Magazine and Uglobal Immigration Magazine, where he has developed industry-leading platforms that educate investors, developers, and immigration professionals worldwide.
Jahangiri began his career as a securities attorney after earning his law degree from Loyola Law School. He specialized in corporate finance and regulatory compliance at a major Orange County law firm before transitioning into investment immigration and finance. Over the course of his career, he has facilitated more than $500 million in EB-5 financing, advising on capital raises for major U.S. development projects.
Through Uglobal.com, Jahangiri has built the largest international investment migration platform, connecting developers with foreign brokers and investors across multiple residency and citizenship-by-investment programs. His media platforms and global events serve as key forums for policymakers, industry leaders, and investors, shaping discussions on investment migration and international capital flows.
The EB-5 program offers qualified foreign investors (and their immediate families) a direct route to U.S. permanent residency by making the required investment and creating jobs in the United States. Once the conditions are met, investors receive conditional Green Cards and can later apply for unconditional residency and eventually U.S. citizenship.
To qualify for an EB-5 visa, an investor must make a substantial financial investment into a U.S. commercial enterprise — typically at least $800,000 in a targeted employment area (TEA) or higher in non-TEA projects — and that investment must create or preserve at least 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers.
Unlike many U.S. work visas, the EB-5 program doesn’t require a job offer or employer sponsorship. Investors essentially self-sponsor through their capital investment. In addition, the investor’s spouse and unmarried children under 21 are eligible to receive Green Cards alongside the investor.
